Desk Murphy Bed
Greetings everyone! As we go through these tough times for our nation, with election season upon us and the Covid-19 pandemic raging, we are thankful business goes on. Recently we installed this beautiful desk Murphy bed near Waddy, Kentucky. This Murphy bed is made of knotty alder. It is a queen size bed cabinet with a desk on the front that folds down horizontally to the floor as the bed panel folds down. This allows papers and other objects to be left on the desktop when the bed is in use. This is simply one of the coolest space saving desk features we offer. The unit also includes a left side bookcase with two-door cupboards in the bottom and top. The bed cabinet also features two external dimmable LED lights over the desktop and two internal LED lights over the bed. Each light pair with separate control.
Customized for a Perfect Fit
The home with this desk Murphy bed is a lovely rustic cabin style on a horse farm. We designed the Murphy bed with the customer to perfectly complement the home’s beautiful natural wood floors, doors and exposed ceiling beams. The customer selected the bed size, wood type and finish, hardware, bookcase features and lighting options. This was the first bed we have designed with the exterior lights, but what a good idea from our customer. Murphy Beds of Central Kentucky specializes in custom Murphy bed design and installation.
