Home Show Murphy Bed Found a Home!
A few weeks ago I mentioned the Murphy bed we displayed at the 2017 Louisville and Lexington Home and Garden shows. Well this beautiful home show Murphy bed found a home! In our previous blogs, we included pictures of the bed set up in our 10 X 10 foot show booths and demonstrated it working hundreds of times throughout each weekend. (Boy what a work-out for the EZ-rest frame system!) The queen size bed cabinet constructed of painted white maple features trim on the doors and crown molding for accent with two accompanying book cases featuring one cupboard base and one three drawer base. This unit also includes a false floor. Many show visitors operated the bed. It was very well received creating much excitement about our Murphy beds!
Last week, we installed this home show Murphy bed in a customer’s living room. As you can see by the accompanying pictures it is even more impressive when installed in a space where it will be enjoyed. Even though the sample bed has been sold we are continuing to book orders for new Murphy beds.
Murphy Bed Designs

- Panel beds where the entire face of the bed cabinet folds down when the bed is deployed

- Couch Murphy beds which includes a couch frame and upholstered cushions disappears when the panel bed is opened
