Our Newest Space Saving Design
Check out the horizontal Murphy bed installation in Northern Kentucky. The queen bed folds down on the long side (horizontal) to maximize floor space when open in a long narrow room. We designed this bed for a customer who wanted a queen size Murphy bed cabinet to fit a narrow room in a high rise condominium. The customer selected a translucent finish on the light maple hardwood to compliment his new bamboo wood flooring. We used our unique false floor system with counterweights to avoid drilling holes in this new floor. The bed cabinet also features raised door trim for a clean geometric design. Four hinges on each door assure smooth, level door opening.
Big Bed, Small Space
This beautiful queen size horizontal Murphy bed opens easily for daily or occasional use. The horizontal design makes the most of a narrow space. It also creates usable space at the top of the cabinet for media or decorative items. The Murphy bed makes the most of this den space by day, bedroom by night.
