Woodland Cabin

Murphy Bed News, May 2020, includes the installation last week of two Murphy bed units.  The first is a queen size hickory bed unit with solid hickory doors in the raised cathedral arch pattern. The matching hickory side bookcases make this a balanced wall display.   This was installed in a newly finished mountain cabin. Our beautiful bed design is the perfect compliment to the customer’s all wood decor.

Riverside Condo

The second unit is a queen size bed unit with shaker style trim.  The maple unit is painted white for a clean modern look. The customer added detail with hardware she specially selected. The matching bookcase finishes the space with storage and style.  This one of a kind unit fits the unique size and shape of the small top floor bedroom.  This beautiful Murphy bed complements the unique space in a luxury condominium overlooking the Ohio river.

Custom Design

Both projects were installed in beautiful settings featuring designs by Kentucky Murphy Beds and specific to each customer’s exacting taste.  We are a custom design business. Although the basic bed unit size is standard width and height (for twin, full, queen, or king), other features are yours to design. You select the type of wood, finish, accompanying bookcases or cabinetry, trim level, type of drawers, crown molding and lighting. The combinations are unique and unlimited. We draw out each design for your approval.  The design is sent to the Amish cabinet maker to start the building process.  The cabinet maker may even add special features of their own design to further enhance the furniture design.  Each Murphy bed unit is individually made to the highest quality standards.  They are truly heirloom pieces.
