Murphy Couch Bed –
What a way to use a small space! A beautiful dual use furniture design for your smallest home space. This week we installed our first Murphy couch bed. The unit is designed for our customer with a small living space in a condominium. It is constructed of distressed cherry wood with a bookcase/end table on the right of the bed cabinet and a couch in front. The neutral colored couch cushions are comfortable for every day lounging.
The queen size Murphy couch bed features a panel door with attached frame to support a queen mattress. Due to the long narrow room it is designed on the horizontal orientation. The total footprint of the bed opened into the room is approximately 70 inches. Its challenging to photograph in tight spaces, but the pictures do show off the excellent quality Amish constructed cabinetry.
